Mr. Dattels is a Senior Advisor at Brooklands Capital Strategies. Mr. Dattels previously served as the Managing Partner for TPG Asia based in San Francisco and Hong Kong, as well as a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Prior to joining TPG in 2004, Mr. Dattels served as a Partner and Managing Director of Goldman, Sachs & Co. In addition, he served on the Firm's Management Committee in Asia. He received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts, with Honors, from the University of Western Ontario. He serves or has served on the Board of Directors of Cushman & Wakefield, BlackBerry, Invest in Canada, Parkway Holdings, Primedia, Inc., Shangri-La Asia Ltd., and Sing Tao News Corporation Ltd. Mr. Dattels is also a Trustee for Jackson Laboratories, Vice Chair of SFJazz, and is the Founding Trustee of the Kingfisher Foundation.
