About

A successful investment firm requires expert navigation throughout its lifecycle — from raising initial capital and firm-building, through executing successive fund campaigns, to expanding core expertise into extensions and new products, and ultimately to finding strategies which optimize value for all stakeholders. Knowledge, relationships, and, most importantly, experience are the necessary tools to pilot a smooth course. Since the skies are not always calm, managers need a skilled team alongside them — one who has raised capital through a variety of cycles and overcome the many challenges of building and growing an alternative investment platform.

At Brooklands, we have distinct experiences informed by many years at a preeminent general partner, an investment firm with a reputation for pioneering new ground and embracing complexity. That is our DNA. The 65+ collective years of experience of our senior partners, combined with our unique “insider” perspective, ensure that we can help chart an efficient course to reach your goals — a path that is distinctly your own.

THE BROOKLANDS STORY

Our name takes its origin from the Brooklands racetrack and airfield in Surrey, England. During its heyday from 1907 to 1939, Brooklands was the epicenter of motorcar and aircraft development — a place where pioneers and inventors outwitted gravity and set new world records. It was a community devoted to collaboration and creativity in bringing outrageous ideas to life and making machines go faster, farther, and higher. Brooklands lives on as a symbolic reminder for us to keep exploring new frontiers where risk is an essential element to achieving real progress and growth.
